Fraser Bar - Emergency Exit Device
Single-point emergency exit device certificated to BS EN 179: 1998Operation is by a sideways movement of the green push-pad release handle in the direction of the arrow. This provides a single-handed means of emergency exit, meeting the latest European emergency exit requirements.
After activation the bolt is held in the retracted position, requiring key re-setting, meeting the requirements for high security (HS) devices with surreptitious protection.
A microswitch is fitted as standard to provide electric monitoring of bolt activation.
Specification:
- 70 mm by 10 mm steel bolt with 50 mm throw
- Independently type tested to BS EN 179: 1988
- Bolt secured in retracted position after activation, requiring key for re-setting
- Electric monitoring of bolt status
- Steel core fixing with outward opening keeps suitable for a timber frame, as standard
