‘PURBROOK’ Single-point Deadlock (40mm throw)

Named after the famous Bowman Archery Fort, the ‘Purbrook’ is an enhanced and strengthened single-point security deadlock. With the same mounting footprint as the Surelock ‘Stirling’ lock it enables retro-fitting, subject to frame/keep suitability.

The ‘Purbrook’ lock is designed for use on gates, doors, and similar applications where greater strength is required. Easy on-site latch adjustment is provided for the wider gap tolerancing between gates and their frame.

Key or solenoid lock release is available on one or both sides, alternatively a single handed lever handle, push pad or panic bar to provide an optional emergency or panic exit.

Heavy-duty single-point deadlock with a choice of key or solenoid lock release, plus panic or emergency exit options.

Ordering Codes:

Cylinders can be selected from most leading manufacturers, or customers own supply enabling existing suiting requirements to be maintained (Union’ cylinders fitted as standard).

The ‘PURBROOK’ lock is non-handed and bi-directional, therefore suitable for both right and left-hand swing, inward- or outward-opening doors and gates.

Solenoid lock release versions:

• Electric monitoring of bolt and lock status, plus a ‘request to exit’ microswitch available
• Single handed emergency or panic exit
• Internal handle protection shroud with polycarbonate hinged cover
• Choice of strike plates, keeps and fixings available

Entry and exit operational choices are almost limitless, with self-creating ordering codes in-line with the latest Surelock coding system, as follows:

’PB1(nn)’

‘PB’ for a ‘PURBROOK’ deadlock, ‘1’ for single-point securing, ‘(0-2)’ for the choice of entry and (0-5) for the exit codes (refer to steps 2 and 3 below).
